iHeartFaces... by the light of the sun...

Waking up... by the light of the sun... no pun intended.

Come check out the website iHeartFaces. They offer these weekly photography challenges capturing faces, as well as themed categories focusing on these faces. An e-friend Heidi Scovel has inspired me to join in the fun here... thanks Heidi! I thought this weeks challenge to use NO FLASH was the perfect time to jump in and join the fun at iHeartFaces (www.iheartfaces.com).

This photo taken of Mark one morning last week was unique... in that I am not the most warm and fuzzy person at this time in the morning. But with the open window, and such a warm light from the morning sun, it seemed to illuminate my LittleManMark... and I realized I needed no further prodding (as I usually do) to get up!

Good Morning Sunshine

Just thought I would share with you a few glimpses of our morning. It does help to have the camera close for moments like these. It was such a beautiful feeling with the windows open and the birdies singing in the trees outside my window. I do believe spring is at our doorstep. And, I must say, these precious moments arrived just in the knick of time, as my photography pictures demonstrating available light are due tomorrow. Thank you my sunshine... oh and you too sun! We couldnt have done it without you...

A cozy little chair for Hannah...

I just found this cozy little chair outside a consignment shop here in town. No, I didn't buy it! Ugh! Ironically, it was too ugly to buy, but too cute not to take a picture with Hannah bundled up in it.

Yeah, I am THAT woman on the side of the road... well I dun' good didn't I?!

Okay so I can't take all the credit. Hannah did it all for me.

She is a pertie girl ain't she?

Take a flight...

"I have found adventure in flying.... (and it seems) Adventure is a state of mind -and spirit."
Jacqueline Cochran 1910-1980

Hannah and Sara Kate at Elk City Lake
...From my perspective, whether at home or in the world, in the physical sense and emotional as well, having sisters are the best support in keeping a girl up. If it hadn't been for these girls... I couldn't have seen it.

Hannah's {Orange Belt} Promotion

Way to go girl!! It was so fun having Grandma here to see Hannah's shining moment. And to this day, no amount of chick flicks will make me cry, but seeing my girl beaming with confidence is an ALL CLEAR signal to bring on the tears.

Note: Master Robert Lewis has also noted that the facial hair pictured here is not an attempt at a great new trend, but an unfortunate preparation for a play this Easter. I wish I had such a good excuse to look unruly!!

April and Robert....just gotta say, we love you guys. Thank you for your Christlike example and inspiring friendship.
