Celebrating with cake

We celebrated Mark's birthday (June 2nd) with Grandma last Saturday. Its was all his kookie little faces and his master crawling races that made it an eventful weekend. Today we took pictures of Mark with his sissies to give them a point of reference to look at, as he gets bigger than them... I am sure he will appreciate that record to look back on.

Tonight, Mark had his first big boy meal, he ate spaghetti and meatballs with the family tonight, and then cake and ice cream with Daddy. We got some crazy shaped balloons for the girls to play with and then watched them get wound up with their simple party toys. It was a simple celebration, but I enjoy seeing their excitement over the little things.
