Here is Where the Wild Things Are...

Once Hannah had seen the movie Where the Wild Things Are, it lit a fire under her so bright white that she couldn't help but built and draw to get all the inspiration out. That movie truly inspires in a myriad of ways. Whether as a part of a family, with friends, or oneself... there is a variety of ways to express, share and create. This movie had such deep roots in art, love, forgiveness, creativity, imagination, self-respect, respect of others, and the connections we all share between each of these points and persons.

Am I making sense? Eh, who's reading this anyways...

Anyhow, I could watch this movie again and again, and each time get a different and new perspective or point of inspiration. The houses alone that they built, were wondrous beyond my imagination with the thoughts of running away as a child and building such extravagant forts. Come on... who doesn't dream of running away at some point in life...?!

Anyhow, the subject of the forts in the movie has been the focal point in our yard numerous times, since watching it a couple of weeks ago. The fort pictured here is one that Daddy just had to get in on. It was sweet to see my creative architects playing with sticks.

A month later now and I am thinking if we don't get it moved off the yard, it may be given a permanent address.

WARNING: Bushes were bushwhacked, killed, dried and tied for the making of this fort. Thank heaven!!
