Terri Clark & Fair Food Round 3

Tonight was the grand event! A concert event with country artist Terri Clark on stage in downtown Independence Kansas. My mother was here to enjoy it with us. Here are just a few of the pictures we took from this evening. The first is my mother with our oldest daughter Hannah. The funny thing was my mother was stopped more times than I can count because people took a double take at her resemblance to Terri Clark... especially with that sassy hat they both sported.
I must tell you, this only happens in small towns right... some woman asked my mom to take a picture with them so they could go home and say it was Terri Clark.
Then, a girl came running cause she thought it was Terri Clark, then when we sadly said she wasn't... the little girl cried. Well I guess we could have stretched the truth to a little fib for the sake of that sweet girl.
Finally, we trotted a whole two blocks home with some samples of comfort foods from the fair... with a chocolate covered cheesecake and funnel cake to share together, all cozied up in our jammies.

And here is ROUND 3 of fair food sampled. Neewollah fair food enjoyed this evening. This was DINNER ONLY, but let me stress, we don't normally eat like this...
Gyros with steak and lamb (2)
Fried Cheese on a Stick (2)... this is a hit with the girls
Ribbon Fries
Foot Long Corn Dog
Chocolate Covered Cheesecake
Funnel Cake

Your mom is so pretty and your daughter resembles her a bit especially around the nose and smile!
